Delicious cocktails

This refreshing blackberry and ginger cocktail is the perfect blend of sweet, sour, and spicy. Mix ½ pint of blackberries and eight sprigs of mint in a large pitcher. Then add 1 ½ cups vodka, 1 cup of fresh lime juice, and three bottles of Reeds Extra Ginger Beer. Serve over ice garnished with more mint. If you want something on the sweeter side, try a strawberry pom mojito. Muddle six strawberries, ¼ cup of mint leaves, and the juice of one lime in a shaker glass. Next, add ½ cup blueberry pomegranate juice, two shot glasses of white rum, and one tablespoon of honey. Mix well. Pour into two glasses prepared with ice. Fill up with lime soda. Garnish with strawberries and mint leaves.

Fruity mocktails

For a delicious, refreshing mocktail, try this orange and cranberry mocktail recipe. In a large pitcher, mix together 32 ounces of apple juice, 32 ounces of cranberry juice, and 32 ounces of Trader Joe’s Orange, Peach, Mango juice. Serve over ice and garnish with orange slices. For something a little unusual but just as delicious, make a rosemary grapefruit mocktail. Start by making a rosemary syrup by adding one cup of water and one cup of sugar to a pan. Bring to a boil to dissolve sugar. Remove from heat and add four fresh rosemary sprigs. Cover pot and steep for half an hour. Next, mix one cup of rosemary syrup, 1 ½ cups of Fresh Grapefruit Juice (We like Natalie’s but any grapefruit juice if this is discontinued), and 3-4 cups of club soda together in a pitcher. Serve immediately over ice.

Blended fresh fruit drinks

You’ll need a blender to create tasty fruit drinks ncluding whole, fresh fruit. A high-power blender will produce a smoother, tastier beverage. It also helps if you have one that’s easy to clean. To make a sparkling lemon, pineapple, and kiwi mocktail, add a peeled kiwi, three tablespoons of Trader Joe’s All Natural Hawaiian Pineapple Juice, and one teaspoon of raw honey to your blender. Blend to a thin puree. Pour a ¾ cup of sparkling lemon water in two glasses. Pour equal volumes of puree into each glass. Serve with mint ice cubes. Alternatively, to make a virgin watermelon margarita, blend together one chopped large watermelon,  ½ cup lime juice, and four teaspoons of agave nectar. Pour the margarita into four cups with ice and top each with five tablespoons of sparkling water.
