2 Person Version: 1 – package of Trader Joe’s Spicy Italian Sausage ($4/2 = $2) 1 – Trader Joe’s Lemon Pepper Pappardelle Pasta ($1.99). 1 – Jar of Cacciatore Sauce ($1.99) 1- Trader Joe’s package sliced mushrooms $1.99 1 tbsp Olive Oil ($0.25) 1 – bottle Bear’s Lair Cabernet($5) I use 2.5 links of Spicy Sausage (freeze remainder). Heat Olive Oil on Medium High. Add & Cook Sausage until brown (cut into small forkable size chunks during cooking). Drain excess Olive Oil and fat .. reduce to medium low and add Cacciatore sauace.. Add sliced mushrooms to sauce. Let simmer 10 minutes. Add to cooked lemon pepper pappardelle. Uncork wine and enjoy.
