I have to rinse these for a few seconds under water or I get a salt overdose. They are big, green olives stuffed with a chunk of garlic. They are good though and allow me to get a dose of heart healthy monounsaturated fats along with the health benefits of garlic.
This is plain and basic in the best sense. Nothing is overdone. The cinnamon is just right and the sweetness perfect. The crust is just enought to carry the filling. This pie is always very fresh tasting and doesn’t last long once I get it home.
