Greek-Style Yogurt
What a great package – the single-serving size comes with little bin of honey, which is perfect to sweeten the plain yogurt. The consistency is different from American yogurt, but it’s better — thicker but oh so smooth.

So delicious with a drizzle of olive oil, sea salt, and a dusting of freshly-ground pepper. Yum!
Is one heavy cream the same as another? I tested this head to head against a supermarket heavy cream. This was noticeably better. A bit thicker and more consistent than the supermarket brand.
Havarti is a traditional cheese from Denmark. Smooth, with a creamy, almost buttery texture. Mild but not weak. The dill adds a kick. A nice lingering aftertaste rounds out the experience. I had it with cherries after dinner. I’ll see if it melts well enough for an omellette.
If you love hummus and/or love olives, this is for you. So good (and cheap!) It is very flavorful, and actually tasted somewhat like baba ghanouj (eggplant) to me. Was it a hint of lemon, perhaps? This is great any way you eat these types of middle eastern/mediterranean spreads like with …
This is a winner! It’s a little crumbly, with hardly any ginger taste but great on crackers, bagels and even toast. The flavor of the cheese is smooth and somewhat rich, and when you get a chunk of mango, it’s like a bonus! It’s good for a snack when you want …
This is a cultured butter, like those in Europe. It’s got such a sweet, good taste, and makes baked goods taste amazing. My kids love to slather it on their bread, too. My local TJ’s has a tasting station guy from the part of Brittainy whose economy revolves around butter, and …
This is one of my favorite cheeses from Trader Joes. It comes sliced in plain and jalapeno flavor (never had the latter) and has a slightly sour (in a good way!) taste, like sour cream. It’s hard to explain, but it is definitely worth a try. I am not sure if …
The most addictive cheese I have ever eaten. It is unlike anything I have had before. Probably goes good with pears or something, but I prefer it plain, by itself.
No magic here — just a really rich, fresh, delicious brie HALF the price of the grocery store across the street.
