Recipe: 1 package of Trader Joe’s Gorditas 1 can of frijoles 1 tablespoon of Mole sauce Chile Pepper Right out of the package, Trader Joe’s Gorditas can be a little bland if you like your food zesty. Here’s how to “dress them up” a bit and turn out a snack or entree that is pure yummy. With a little olive oil, pan fry the Gordita(s) until crispy on both sides. Open a can of frijoles and put in a microwave safe bowl, then add a bit of chili powder or powdered chili flakes and about a tablespoon of Mole sauce. Mix together and microwave until hot. Pour the frijoles over the top of the crispy gordita(s). You could also add minced onions, extra cheese, or a dollop sour cream.
