2 cups sugar 1 cup margarine/butter 1 (15.5 ounce) can solid pumpkin puree 2 teasp. vanilla extract 4 cups all purpose flower 2 tsp. baking soda 2 tsp ground cinnamon (add nutmeg, cloves, and/or allspice for extra yummies) 12 oz. chocolate chips (I like semi-sweet) 1.) Preheat oven to 375 F 2.) Cream sugar, margarine, pumpkin, and vanilla together. Mix until light and well combined 3.)Mix the flower, baking soda, and ground cinnamon. Stir the flour mixture into the creamed mixture. Mix until combined. Fold in chocolate chips. 4.) Drop onto baking sheet and bake for roughly 20 minutes. Let cool on rack. you have achieved heaven… <3 my friend substituted applesauce for butter for a healthier version and claims they were just as scrumptious 🙂
