1–TJ’s pizza crust, any kind Flour and black pepper for dusting 1 1/2 cans TJ’s Organic Tomato Sauce 1 can TJ’s Tomato Paste Red wine for thinning (I used La Finca Malbec) Cajun seasoning to taste (optional) TJ’s Italian seasoning Garlic powder TJ’s Parmesan-Romano blend (the canned kind) 1 cup TJ’s Shredded Mozzarella 1 cup TJ’s Shredded Cheese Blend Your favorite toppings Dust a hard surface with flour and pepper. Shape crust to desired shape. Heat oven to 500. (I use a $6.00 pizza screen from a restaurant supply house; no preheating and it makes the BEST crust). Mix tomato sauce and paste. Add wine until the mixture reaches desired texture. Spread over crust. Dust with spices. Prebake crust for 5 minutes if using a screen; maybe a little longer if using a pan or stone. It should begin to get a little firm and the bottom should not be moist. Remove and sprinkle with Parmesan. Top with cheese and your favorite toppings. Return to oven until cheese just browns. Serves 4 – 6 with a salad, fruit and your favorite TJ’s red wine. My favorite toppings are pepperoni and TJ’s sliced Crimini Mushrooms, each slice cut lengthwise again. But you can try just about anything TJ’s has to offer that will go on a pizza. Knock yourself out 🙂
