1 package trader joes pizza dough 1 can trader joes baby shrimp 1 package trader joes fully-cooked bacon slices 1 can trader joes marinara 1 package trader joes shredded lite Mexican blend cheese 1 package trader joes chopped onions 1 package trader joes sliced jalepenos prep grill- whatever type the heat should be medium. spraying the grill BEFORE heating is a good idea. flour a surface and let the pizza dough rise for 20 min. while the dough does its thing, open all cans and packages. pour marinara into a sauce pot and heat. dice bacon and mix w/ shrimp in a large mixing bowl–shrimp has a bold flavor so plan to mix X2 the bacon to the shrimp. roll dough into a 12″ pie and par-bake on the grill–don’t over-cook it! mix bacon/shrimp with marinara–just enough sauce to coat and cover the meats. spread mixture on par-baked dough and add onions. i like onions. add yours as you please. top pizza with cheese and return to grill. close the lid and wait for the cheese to melt. i like to top the cooked pie with sliced peppers..but do as you will. any toppings added to this pizza will create a new layer of flavor. sour cream? scallions? cheese dip? you tell me. enjoy!
