While TJs makes some pretty good granola, fresh granola just knocks everything else out of the park, and this recipe is literally the best and incredibly easy and quick. Enjoy! 2 1/2 cups old fashioned oats 2/3 cup flour 1/2 cup brown sugar (reduce to 1/3 c. if you like your granola a little less sweet) 1 teaspoon salt 3/4 cup your favorite TJ’s nuts, chopped (I use a mix of peanuts and sunflower seeds–delicious!) 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, chopped into slices to ensure easier melting 1/2 cup pure maple syrup (you can also use honey for a different flavor, but I prefer the syrup) 3/4 cup TJ’s dried fruit (I use cranberries and raisins, but TJ’s has so many good things to try!) Preheat the oven to 325. Mix the first 5 ingredients together in a large bowl. In a glass measuring cup or microwaveable bowl, put the maple syrup and chopped butter in the microwave to melt, about 1 minute. Pour to melted liquids into the large bowl with dry ingredients and mix. Line a large sheet pan with foil, then spread the mixture out as thin as the pan allows. Bake in oven for 10-12 minutes on each side, flipping it in between for even cooking, until the granola is browning and gets crunchy. Once the baking is complete, pour the granola back into your bowl, add the dried fruit and mix. Last step: take a bite and ENJOY. I guarantee you will love this stuff!
