Summer is ice cream season! If you can’t or don’t want or need dairy and the high calorie contest this iced dessert is for you! Not as creamy as ice cream but just as satisfying and flavorful! 1 – 32 ounce carton Blue Diamond Chocolate Almond Milk 1- 17.5 ounce jar TJ’s Cherry Preserves with fresh cherries 1 -4 ounce package TJ’s Almondina Chocolate Cherry Biscuits Place the Chocolate Almond milk in a large bowl and stir in ½ cup of the preserves. Pour into the canister of your ice cream maker freezer . Process according to ice cream maker’s instructions. Remove from freezer and stir in another ½cup of preserves. Place into a container and place in your freezer until it is frozen like ice cream . This may take several hours. To serve scoop out into bowls and garnish with the Almondina Chocolate Cherry Biscuits and a spoon of preserves. Yields 1 ½ quarts. Note : because this is a water based product you may need a hot spoon to serve. The fat content of ice cream keeps it smooth and creamy. This would also be great in an iced pop maker
