This lightweight litter is affordable and very effective. It does not clump like clay litter, but rather the silica crystals absorb to pee. You have to scoop out solid waste though and then stir around the litter to redistribute the crystals. It does a good job absorbing pee smells and it lasts for about a month per cat. The best thing to me is that it does not stick to paws like the clay litter was. I was going NUTS with the litter my cat was tracking around his box. This stuff tracks WAY LESS and is MUCH EASIER to clean up since the silica particles are larger than clay. It’s kind of loud when the cat steps in it and has a different texture from clay. My cat took to Space immediately, but some cats might need a bit of time to adjust (like mix Space in with clay litter and gradually reduce the amount of clay litter.)
