Chocolate Croissants

In one word… life changing. But seriously, I’ve tried these twice now and can say these are as good if not better than what you can get at your local bakery. It does require some additional planning in that you have you have to set out the chocolate croissants the night before to proof overnight (for 9 hours) but is extremely easy in the morning, simply brush an eggwash (whisk together one egg and a tablespoon of hot water) over the pastries in the morning and bake them off in the oven. They look and taste like the real deal you’d get in Paris. If you wanted to go a little further, melt and drizzle some dark chocolate over the cooled croissants.
