This is a very Italian traditional airy, doughy cake with candied fruit and berries typically eaten for breakfast or dessert. Trader Giotto’s Cranberry Panettone lives up to the taste, texture and aroma of a fine panettone. It’s made with creamy french butter and chock full of cranberries with some candied orange pieces. I love panettone and must say that this is the moistest one I have had in recent years (they tend to be dry.) It’s made in Piemonte, Italy, and costs $6.99. Each cake is about 12 servings at 300 calories and 12 grams of fat each. Note this is a seasonal item for the holidays.
