Spicy Pumpkin Cream Soup

Saute one large diced onion and 1 tsp minced garlic in 2 tbsp olive oil until transparent. Add 1 tbsp worcestershire sauce, 1 tsp hot pepper sauce, 1/4 tsp mace, 1/8 tsp white pepper and 1/8 tsp allspice. Stir in 1 can organic pumpkin and heat. Add 1 can organic half and half or light cream. Heat almost to boiling. Add salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with toasted, chopped pecans or pignoli.
