To ensure that no bacteria-ridden products were sold at Trader Joe’s, the company pulled all bagged fresh spinach from their shelves and issued a statement:
“Trader Joe’s takes the safety of our customers very seriously . . . We instructed all of our stores to pull from sale every one of our bagged fresh spinach salads, all bagged salad mixes containing fresh spinach and all ready to eat products containing fresh spinach. Shouldcustomers have any of these products, they are encouraged to return themto Trader Joe’s for a full refund.”
