Frozen lumps of mashed potatoes… I just had to buy these out of curiosity. Yes, yes, they are “instant potatoes” but how did they compare to the real thing and the flakes? What a pleasant surprise! MUCH better than instant (don’t trust those flakes anyway) and close enough to the real thing. I mean, you can still tell they are premade but they are so hot, fresh and delicious right from the microwave, I would say these are a no brainer, especially if you have kids and need stuff in your fridge that’s ready in a jimmy. Another major bonus is that you can totally control the portion, unlike regular instant potatoes.
