Chocolate Croissants

These are in the freezer section, come with 4 in a package. You take them out, place them on parchment or wax paper 4 to 6″ apart and let them “proof” or thaw and rise for 9 hours. Brush tops with beaten egg and bake for 20 mins. til brown on top. They are so delicious and very reminiscent of my daily breakfast treat while in Paris. I couldn’t believe something frozen could rival any bakery’s attempt at pain de chocolate!!
