Cabernet Pot Roast

What a perfect star of a Sunday dinner, or tossed in a slow cooker to greet you on a weekday evening. This pot roast (which can be found in the fresh meat section) is simple to prepare and delicious. Just brown it in a bit of oil before putting it in the slow cooker with 1/2 cup of water and let it cook for about 9 hours on low/6 hours on high. It can also be cooked in the oven. It comes out with a perfect pot roast texture.
